Master's Degree in New Media Art: Become a Leader in the Creative Industry

The master’s program at the Faculty of New Media Arts at PJATK in Gdańsk offers a unique blend of advanced theoretical knowledge and the practical application of digital technologies. Our program prepares students to navigate the fields of art, the humanities, and modern technological solutions with confidence and proficiency.

An interdisciplinary educational model

We focus on versatility. The program is both academic and artistic in nature, with a special emphasis on digital media. Our students develop their skills in two key areas:
Digital Technologies: Classes are held in modern studios and cover graphic design, websites, multimedia, animation, 3D modeling, and creating graphics for computer games.
Traditional Arts: We focus on developing manual skills in professional studios for drawing, photography, and printmaking.

Graduate Profile
A graduate of the master’s program is a top-tier specialist, prepared to tackle complex design and creative projects. What sets our master’s graduates apart?

  • Expert knowledge: Proficiency in using advanced software (including Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, and Unreal Engine).
  • Artistic awareness: The ability to seek out original and unconventional solutions in one’s professional work.
  • Leadership skills: Preparation for leadership roles in interdisciplinary project teams.

Career Prospects
The modern job market is seeing a rapidly growing demand for skilled graphic designers. Today, graphic design is a key element of marketing, advertising, and applied arts—it organizes the message and gives it form.
Thanks to a combination of artistic knowledge and proficiency in the latest graphic design software, our graduates successfully find their place in creative industries, design studios, and the new technology sector.
