Webinars

At the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, we understand that as parents of teenagers who are facing the choice of a field of study, you are struggling with many questions, stress, and uncertainty. That is why we decided to turn to specialists for advice on this matter. We encourage you to listen to recordings of our webinars, in which experts share their knowledge on how to support your children in their educational path.

How to talk to teenagers about their professional future?

Choosing a career path is a huge challenge for young people—especially today, when there is so much talk about job automation and new career opportunities are emerging almost daily. How can you help your child make this choice without imposing your own expectations? What questions can support a teenager in finding their path when graduation is fast approaching? And how can you respect their decision, even if it is incomprehensible to you?

We will answer these and many other questions during a free webinarentitled "How to talk to teenagers about their professional future?"

Why are IT degrees still crucial in the age of AI?

Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing the job market, business models, and the way we think about education. Faced with this dynamic, many parents are asking themselves: does higher education—especially in computer science—still make sense and have real value for their child's future?

The aim of the meeting is to dispel doubtsabout the value of higher education in the era of rapid development of artificial intelligence and to show the place of IT studies today in comparison with courses and boot camps. Participants will learn aboutthe real career prospects for IT graduates, as well as areas of the economy of the future, which will serve as a starting point for a discussion about the skills of the engineer of the future and expectations for modern education.
