Earnings report of Computer Science graduates in PJAIT
The first stage of study at the Faculty of Informatics PJAIT is bachelor's degree (engineering degree), which takes place in two modes:
Full-time studies (Monday through Friday) lasting 7 semesters,
extramural studies (every two weeks on weekends: Saturday and Sunday) lasting 8 semesters
Students attend lectures conducted for the entire year and related exercises and laboratory classes.
During computer labs, each student is provided with a separate computer. Higher-year students use specialized computer labs tailored to the subject of their thesis.
A prerequisite for the engineering degree is the creation, documentation and defense of a team thesis.
After defending an engineering thesis and receiving a diploma, our graduates can continue their studies in a supplementary master's degree program at PJATK in Warsaw.
Engineering bachelor's degree in two modes: full-time - full-time studies (Monday to Friday), lasting 7 semesters, part-time - extramural studies (every two weeks on weekends: Saturday and Sunday), lasting 8 semesters.
During the first semesters, students acquire general academic knowledge and learn about modern technologies and IT tools.
Particular emphasis is placed on practical aspects, especially regarding programming (Java, C/C++, Python, Scala, PHP), databases and design.
We also emphasize the acquisition of teamwork skills in practice, including through the implementation of specific projects. In the 3rd year, students make a choice of specializations: Software Engineering and Databases, Computer Graphics, GameDev, Internet Applications, Computer Systems and Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things.

The tasks of the Council include advising on the development of scientific and didactic contacts of the Faculty of Informatics of PJATK Branch in Gdansk, adapting study programs to the practical profile, giving opinions on important issues affecting the level of education, advising on educational changes, following up on educational activities, ensuring cooperation between the university and external entities.

In addition to the curriculum, PJATK Gdansk organizes workshops, training courses and additional activities that expand the knowledge of students of the Faculty of Computer Science. Thanks to its cooperation with business, the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology is able to offer courses year after year that make the curriculum more attractive and keep students' knowledge up to date with the demands of the labor market.
