The curriculum is divided into two parts: 

Degree programs in computer science - PJATK Gdańsk

• Base teaching - uniform for all students;
• specialized teaching - in accordance with the student's chosen specialized area.

Engineering studies at the Faculty of Computer Science at PJATK Gdansk pay special attention to practice. Therefore, in our studies we have a large number of laboratory classes and exercises, during which our Students perform tasks similar to those they will encounter in their professional work. During the course of study, students gain comprehensive knowledge and acquire the necessary skills in:

• design, construction and commissioning of computers, microcomputers and embedded systems (including real-time systems), as well as solutions based on the Android platform,
• Design and commissioning of computer networks (including large-scale industrial networks, network databases and data warehouses),
• Design and implementation of information systems to support the work of industrial enterprises and institutions,
• Design and construction of control systems,
• Designing solutions based on advanced computer methods (genetic algorithms, fuzzy logic, neural networks),
• Building systems and solutions based on advanced graphics and multimedia (especially 3D technologies),
• Creation of professional web services, based on HTML/PHP, Java technologies.
