Report from the Girls Do Engineering Gala
Would you like to test your skills in esports competitions, immerse yourself in virtual reality, and experience realistic rally simulations? PJAIT Game Night Gdańsk is a space where participants can test their skills in the GeoGuessr tournament and try out modern technologies for themselves in a controlled and comfortable environment!
Racing simulators
Participants will have access to professional WRC-class car simulators equipped with a moving platform, bucket seat, and panoramic display. The stations enable realistic reproduction of driving conditions on Polish and European rally routes. Participants can choose from a variety of car models and drive on European and Polish tracks.
Virtual reality (VR)
The VR zone is equipped with HTC Vive goggles, offering high image quality and precise motion tracking in a large space. Participants use motion controllers and have access to selected games and applications available on the Steam VR platform, allowing for full immersion in the virtual environment.
GeoGuessr Tournament
The tournament is played on computer stations equipped with university computers, keyboards, mice, and mouse pads. Each station is operated by a student responsible for registering participants and recording results.
Each participant registers by providing their first and last name and accepting the tournament rules by signing the form. Three attempts are allowed in each game, with the best result counting towards the final classification.
We invite secondary school and university students to take part in a technology and esports event combining modern technologies, immersive VR experiences, and esports competition.
