SNM PJATK Gdansk lecturer nominated for NIKE 2025 Literary Award

Once again, the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology can be proud of its male and female graduates. Male and female students who graduated with a degree in Computer Science, first degree, part-time studies can boast the highest earnings according to the ELA report.
Importantly, according to ELA statistics collected, among our graduates, the phenomenon of unemployment, is at 0% and a fresh engineer, finds a job within one month. This is another year in which PJATK is on the top podium in the ranking of graduate earnings. The median gross earnings this year are: PLN 12,533.62.
In an era of dynamic technological change and the growing importance of digital competencies, computer science invariably remains among the most popular fields of study - both in Poland and around the world.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, in 2024, the computer science major ranked second in terms of the number of university applicants in Poland - as many as 35.7 thousand people chose this educational path. Despite the fact that the first place was taken by psychology, computer science continuously remains in the top spot, alongside such majors as management, medical direction and law.
This is no coincidence - choosing to study IT is a conscious investment in the future. The global labor market shows an ever-increasing demand for IT professionals, and the range of career opportunities in this field is extremely wide: from programming to cyber security to artificial intelligence, data analysis or computer game development. Undoubtedly, the market verifies qualifications, which is why every engineer, should keep on expanding his competencies, for example, thanks to the offer of postgraduate studies at PJATK.
What's more, an IT degree offers the opportunity to work in an international environment, often remotely, while offering competitive employment conditions. An IT professional today is not just a profession of the future - it is a profession of the present.
