We invite you to the Pejotka gallery for an exhibition of Social Design, presenting works by first-year English-language students at the Faculty of New Media Art at PJATK in Warsaw.

Press illustrations, editorial graphics and animations were created between 2017 and 2023 during an international Social Design Course workshop initiated by Marjatta Itkonen.
Yadzia Williams a lecturer at the School of Art and Design at the University of Wrexham in North Wales, introduced an original Visual Literacy and Narration program to the SDC workshop. Through it, with the support of an international team of illustrators, animators and teachers, SNM students learn, among other things, to create illustrations for socially engaged articles and then bring them to life using various animation techniques.
The exhibition was created in collaboration with Anna Eichler and Sabina Twardowska of PJATK in Warsaw, permanently affiliated with the SDC workshops.

The exhibition is presented at the Pejotka Gallery at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, 9/11 Targ Drzewny St., Gdansk, Poland, from: 18.12.2023-31.01.2024.
