The Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technology in Gdańsk once again hosted a two-day workshop on suiboku-ga ink painting, led by Sensei Ryuka Matsumura.

During the workshop, the students had the opportunity to learn more about the traditional Japanese art of ink painting and to experiment with brushes, ink, and water. These were two days filled with creative exploration, focus, and inspiration, allowing them to discover the beauty of this unique technique.

The event was organized as part of the educational activities of PJATK Gdańsk with the assistance of Dr. Joanna Zakrzewska and provided another opportunity to enrich the students’ artistic experiences and learn about Japanese traditions firsthand.

We would like to thank Sensei Ryuce Matsumura for sharing his experience and introducing the participants to the world of suiboku-ga, and Ms. Anna Ogawa for her language support, which facilitated a free exchange of knowledge and experiences.
