Maciek Łazowski – a 2D and 3D illustrator living and working in Warsaw. At the exhibition at PJATK in Gdańsk, he will present a series of works created using 3D techniques, mostly involving VR modeling.

His work combines the traditional medium of storytelling with the possibilities offered by modern technology. For him, VR modeling has become not only a tool for his work, but also a new way of building worlds, characters, and narratives.

Combining his experience as an illustrator with digital techniques, Maciek creates images that straddle the line between illustration, sculpture, and animation, while maintaining his signature “plasticine” style.

Modern technology, however, is not an end in itself here—it is a means of developing the imagination and exploring new forms of visual storytelling. Combined with a healthy dose of humor, this results in works full of energy, surprising details, and unexpected associations.

  • Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technology, Gdańsk Branch
