PJATK focuses on engagement and development—discover the university that prepares you for the challenges of the future
The rapid development of technology has brought businesses not only new opportunities but also unprecedented digital threats. Dr. Radosław Stojek, dean of the Faculty of Computer Science at PJATK in Gdańsk, writes on the GF24.pl website about this new reality, in which cybercriminals are adopting artificial intelligence faster than businesses can adapt their procedures.
In his article “Cybersecurity as a Test of Board Performance and Management Quality,” Dr. Stojek highlights the phenomena that became key challenges to data security in 2025 and 2026—including attacks using deepfake technology and the phenomenon of Shadow AI (employees’ use of external, public language models without following company procedures).
As the dean of the Faculty of Computer Science at PJATK Gdańsk points out:
