“Truth and Falsehood in Photography” – a lecture by Dr. Leszek Żurek

Since the dawn of photography, people have used various techniques to distort our view of the world around us. We will trace the history of these techniques: from the first photomontages, through digital manipulation, to the use of Artificial Intelligence. We also invite you to join the discussion, ask questions, and share your perspective.

Drawing Workshop Yōkai

Yōkai is a general term for mythical monsters, spirits, demons, and supernatural phenomena in Japanese folklore. They take countless forms—ranging from animals to everyday objects—and evoke fear or wonder. Often mischievous, sometimes helpful, they are a fascinating element of culture, strongly present in manga, anime, and games. In this workshop, we’ll create our own versions.

Workshop on Creating a "Visual Novel" – REGISTRATION REQUIRED 

| 7:30–9:30 p.m. | Room B211

In this workshop, we will create a prototype of a visual novel. We will learn the basics of using the Ren’Py engine, which is used to create this type of game. To create the graphics, we will learn how to use the basic features of the Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).

The workshops are intended for participants aged 16 and older. In particular,
is designed for those with no prior programming experience.
