Who is this program for: Students in grades 6–8 of elementary school and high school students residing in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
Topic: From Design to Component: A Workshop on Fusion 360 and 3D Printing
Deadline: May 9, 2026 (applications accepted until May 6)
Hours: 10:00-15:00
An introductory session to the world of 3D design and 3D printing, aimed at those just starting their journey into modeling. Participants will learn the basics of working with Tinkercad and Autodesk Fusion, creating their own 3D models ready for printing.
Topic: From Scratch to a Microcontroller
Deadline: May 23, 2026 (applications accepted until May 20)
Hours: 10:00-15:00
An introduction to the basics of electronics and robotics using Arduino. During the workshop, participants will learn the basic concepts of electronics and programming in Scratch and the C programming language.

The Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Science is implementing a project titled “Talented People from Pomerania,” co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) under the “European Funds for Pomerania 2021–2027” program.
The goal of the project is:
1. To improve students’ chances of success in their future education and careers.
2. Enhancing the appeal and quality of the educational offerings provided by schools and other institutions within the education system in terms of supporting students’ talents.
3. Raising awareness and interest among local government bodies, universities, employers, and other entities regarding the support of students’ talents.
The project is open to gifted students from grades VI-VIII of elementary schools, as well as high school and technical school students from the area of Pomeranian Voivodeship. Teachers of elementary schools, high schools and technical schools from the area of Pomorskie Voivodeship will also participate in the project.
The following tasks will be carried out as part of the project:
– academic events for students and teachers;
– meetings with career counselors for students;
– Olympic-themed activities for students;
– mentoring for students;
– e-learning courses for students and teachers;
– a showcase of young talent for students and teachers.
The project is co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), Priority 5 European Funds for a Socially Strong Pomerania (ESF+), Measure 5.8 General and Vocational Education under the European Funds for Pomerania 2021-2027 (FEP 2021- 2027) program
Total project costs: PLN 1,020,360.00
This includes EU funding in the amount of 867,306.00 PLN
