On April 17–18, 2026, High School No. 17 will host a hackathon for high school students from the Pomeranian Voivodeship. This is a unique opportunity to test your skills, develop your creativity, and tackle real-world challenges in the field of new technologies.

👥 Who is this event for?

The hackathon is open to all high school students in the region— not just programmers. People with a variety of skills are welcome to participate: from IT enthusiasts and graphic designers to those who have an idea and want to present it well. What counts is creativity, collaboration, and the ability to create innovative solutions.

🚀 What can you create?

Participants will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, such as:

  • mobile apps,
  • computer and mobile games,
  • IoT (Internet of Things) solutions,
  • other technology projects addressing specific issues.

💡 How will the projects be evaluated?

The contest entries will be evaluated by the jury based on four criteria:

  • innovation and creativity,
  • utility and social potential,
  • design,
  • the suitability of the solution to users' needs.

A maximum of 10 points can be earned in each category.

🤝 Rules for Participation

  • Each school may be represented by one team supervised by a teacher.
  • A team may consist of students from different grades and tracks, but all from the same school.
  • The team roster is final once registration is complete—no changes can be made during the event.
  • Participation in the hackathon is free and voluntary; participants will use their own equipment.

A hackathon isn’t just a competition—it’s first and foremost a space for learning, collaboration, and pursuing your passions. If you have an idea and want to put it to the test, this event is for you!
