Dear Students,

In connection with a job offer received by our University, we invite you to participate in a design competition aimed at selecting two authors of the best designs, who will be officially recommended for the recruitment process for positions related to IT/SysAdmin and Technical Director (TD).

The competition is aimed at students interested in the following topics:

system administration,
DevOps / CI/CD,
microservice and/or microfrontend architecture,
production pipelines and technical support for teams.

🔧 Project topic

The competition task is to prepare an application in microservice and/or microfrontend architecture, including:

implementation based on Docker / Docker Compose,
a clearly defined CI/CD process (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps),
configuration of the runtime environment (Linux or Windows),
system startup and administration documentation.

The project should relate in a practical way to issues encountered in real-life work in IT/SysAdmin and Technical Director positions, in particular:

Substantive scope (assessed):

use of Docker and service containerization,
working with CLI (configuration, startup, backup, restore),
basic network configuration (e.g., reverse proxy),
data management (e.g., volumes, storage),
SSL certificates,
Python or Bash scripts supporting pipeline or administration,
clear technical documentation (README).
