May academic meetings as part of the "Talented in Pomerania" Project
This year's festival will feature Studio Ghibli films: "Laputa - Sky Castle," "My Neighbor Totoro," "Princess Mononoke" and "Hauru's Moving Castle," "Raccoons on the Move," "The Secret World of Arietta" or "Bride for a Cat." There will also be a meeting and a discussion open to viewers about the history of the studio, with the participation of Adam Trwoga, an expert on Japanese cinema and a lecturer at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, among others:

In addition, we invite you to panels with specialists from PJATK as part of the Animafest PRO series . We will talk about topics that touch not only the creative industry. Some of the panels will be held in our Computer Science Department building (Wood Market 9/11).
Animafest PRO, is a series of events accompanying the 11th Edition of the International Animated Film Festival ANIMAFEST Gdansk. The band is aimed at animation creators, producers, students, lecturers and representatives of film institutions and funds, but also ordinary enthusiasts.

Networking meeting, presentations and discussion; examples of partnerships between the cultural, scientific and business sectors. About how to build joint projects with universities, film funds and city institutions?
The meeting and discussion will be attended by Łukasz Kacprowicz (Animation Studio Grupa Smacznego, Association of Polish Animation Producers), Marta Niewiadomska (Gdańsk Film Fund), Agata Kozierańska (Pomeranian Creative Cluster, Trefl Foundation), Robert Turło (Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk) and representatives of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology: Dr. Radosław Stojek, Dean of the WI in Gdańsk, Dr. Jacek Winiarski, Dr. Leszek Żurek.
