Adobe Creative Cloud for PJATK students

The Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology (PJATK) has signed an agreement with Adobe, a world leader in software for designers and digital artists. Thanks to the decision of the Rector of PJATK, Prof. Jerzy Pawel Nowacki, as well as the support of the Dean of the Faculty of New Media Arts - Prof. Ewa Satalecka, Chancellor Maciej Rembarz and BSS Manager Tomasz Fornalik, PJATK male and female students have gained unique access to Adobe Creative Cloud tools.

New opportunities for male and female students

Thanks to the partnership with Adobe, every PJATK student will receive access to the Adobe Creative Cloud (CC)suiteon his or her student account and will be able to use professional programs also on private computers. This solution broadens creative horizons, facilitates work on projects and enables automation of design processes.

Adobe Express - an alternative to Canva

All users will also get access to Adobe Express, a state-of-the-art application that allows quick design of graphics, promotional materials and visual content online. The tool competes with the popular Canva, standing out for its ease of importing and sharing files thanks to Adobe Cloud integration.

Benefits for PJATK students

  • Full suite of professional Adobe CC tools (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
  • Ability to work on private computers using a student account.
  • A modern design tool - Adobe Express.
  • Facilitate learning, creative work and preparation of a professional portfolio.

PJATK is committed to developing digital competence and supporting students in gaining experience at an international level. Through our partnership with Adobe, our students gain an edge in the world of graphic design, multimedia and digital art.

Adobe Express why better than Canva?

Why Adobe Express (for academies) > Canva?

Access under the university plan

  • Universities often have access to Adobe Express bundled with other Creative Cloud tools (Adobe CC is available to New Media Art Students).
  • Students, faculty and staff do not have to pay additional costs because the express package for education is free for PJATK (unlike Canva Pro).

Integration with Adobe Creative Cloud tools

  • Students and staff can move seamlessly from simple projects in Express to advanced ones in Photoshop or Illustrator.
  • This makes it easy to teach the development path: from simple graphics to professional design.

👉 What's more:

  • Canva is simpler and fast for individuals, but it is not as firmly embedded in the professional ecosystem.
  • Adobe Express for Academia gives the academy an edge: it teaches students professional tools, ensures security and compliance with academic systems, while promoting consistency of communication across the institution.
  • With the signed agreement, the PJATK community can be beneficiaries of the program and participate in many webinars and meetings organized in cooperation with Adobe.
  • There are many fantastic contests and opportunities ahead to get noticed by top designers!

Facilities for education

  • The ability to log in through university accounts, from their own computers.
  • Built-in collaboration and content sharing features within the academic community.
  • Appropriate security and privacy standards for student data (FERPA, COPPA).

Professional resources in education

  • Building the competencies of the future
  • Canva is a popular tool, but more of an amateur one.
  • Adobe Express prepares students to work in the Adobe ecosystem, which is the standard for agencies, IT, design and marketing companies.
