May academic meetings as part of the "Talented in Pomerania" Project
On May 13, 2025, at around 10:00 a.m., one of our university's employees was attacked on the campus of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology at 86 Koszykowa Street in Warsaw.
The injured worker, after receiving first aid on the spot, was taken to the hospital for further diagnosis. The employee is currently on sick leave.
Immediately after the incident, we activated safety procedures: the relevant emergency services were notified, as well as the police, who are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Our university is based on the values of mutual respect, tolerance and empathy, so we are deeply moved by yesterday's event.
We assure you that we are taking all necessary steps to guarantee the safety of the entire Academy community.
Dr. Jerzy Paweł Nowacki
Rector of the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology
