PJATK Gdańsk students with a study visit to LPP headquarters

As part of developing the competencies of future graphic designers, PJATK Gdansk students had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of LPP - one of the largest Polish clothing companies. The study visit allowed them to gain practical knowledge about working in different graphic areas and to get a closer look at the process of creating fashion collections.

At the beginning of the visit, the students took part in a series of presentations by LPP specialists, who talked about their work and shared their experiences. An art director, a graphic designer and a fashion designer introduced the participants to the specifics of their roles, showing what their daily work looks like and what skills are crucial in the fashion industry.

After the inspiring lectures, participants took part in a hands-on workshop, where they were tasked with creating their own moodboard - a visual composition of inspirations, which is the basis for designing a collection. This exercise helped students better understand the process of building a consistent brand aesthetic and selecting graphic elements.

Another highlight was a guided tour of the LPP building. The students had the opportunity to see what the working environment is like in a large apparel company and how the various creative departments work together.

Finally, there was a meeting with representatives of the HR department, during which participants were able to learn more about the recruitment process at LPP, the requirements for candidates and career opportunities at the company. The Q&A session was a great opportunity to get answers to burning questions about career paths in the fashion and graphic design industry.

The visit to LPP was an extremely valuable experience for PJATK Gdansk students. It allowed them not only to gain practical knowledge and see what it is like to work in a large apparel company, but also to make valuable contacts and get inspired for further professional development.
