The management, teachers and students of the 17th High School in Gdynia, together with the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technology, cordially invite students and teachers to a unique event - the 5th Pomeranian Hackathon for High School Students, which will take place on April 11 and 12, 2025.

What is a Hackathon?

It's an intense two days full of creative teamwork, innovative solutions and technological challenges! The event is supported by the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, the Pomeranian Superintendent of Education and the Mayor of Gdynia. Participation in the Hackathon is free and voluntary, using your own computer equipment. Recruitment for the Hackathon is open, with participation open to high school students from the Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The jury includes representatives of the City of Gdynia, the University of Gdansk, Microsoft and Intel, the Gdynia Teacher Training Center and the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.

How to report a team?

The team must consist of 2-5 students attending the same school. The application is made by a teacher working at that school - the team's supervisor. Each school can submit a maximum of 1 team - its guardian must register the team from 03.03. to 28.03.2025. It is worth knowing thatregistration is tantamount to a declaration of participation. Theme - the allocation is determined by the order of applications. In case of lack of places in the category chosen by the team, we will immediately contact the team supervisor. We will also try to keep you informed in case the categories fill up.
