Last Friday, a special Open Day was held for participants in the Girls Do Engineering program. The girls learned how they can develop their careers during their studies. They were very interested in the topic of hackathons 👩‍💻 The main highlight of the program was the lecture "Brain programming and mind reading" 🧠 conducted by Kinga Marszałkowska - a graduate of the computer science department at PJATK Gdańsk and a current student of second degree studies at PJATK in Warsaw. At the end, each participant could test her knowledge in an interactive quiz with prizes 🎁

This is the second edition of the program, where PJATK Gdansk is a partner. Girls Do Engineering is a program implemented by Amazon Development Center Poland in cooperation with the Digital Dialogue Association. Its goal is to encourage girls to choose a career path in the technology industry, support them in conscious career building and strengthen their self-esteem and internal motivation for development. The program is free of charge, dedicated to high school girls from the Tri-City area.
