MAŁA GALLERY PLSP / International M. E. Andriolli Drawing Contest in NAŁĘCZOWIE.

The presentation of works by the winner of the Grand Prix of the VII International M. E. Andriolli Drawing Competition in Naleczow in 2021 at the PLSP Small Gallery takes place as part of the activities of this cyclical event. Beata Cedrzynska's solo exhibition PODOBLIZNY presents recent works, some of them premiered, made in mixed technique on glass. About her motivations, the author wrote:

In my work, I want to reach for themes that are important, getting to the heart of our human fears and most deeply hidden anxieties. To come face to face with our inevitable fate. To touch the usually shrouded in mystery problem of passing and death. Despite the fact that our memory quickly depletes, and inexorable time obliterates memories, distancing us from the emotions that once accompanied the important moments of our lives, I, in a sense, paradoxically try to stop the moments. I want through my work, which is a manifestation of reflection directed towards my own life, thoughts of the death of loved ones and my own, to make the viewer stop and reflect personally.
