Venue: Pejotka Gallery, first floor, Department of Computer Science, 9/11 Drzewny St. Gdansk.
The virtual world, the real world, or maybe just... our world! See how, thanks to the new advances in technology, what starts as a digital code is entering the physical space.
Visitors will be treated to examples of technological solutions that still appeared on the pages of sci-fi novels at the turn of the century, and are now entering our homes and offices. And all this surrounded by art - the zone will be accompanied by an exhibition of paintings by Andrzej Sramkiewicz.

Artificial Intelligence in Photography - lecture
Time: 20:00-21:00
Venue: Auditorium 205-206, 2nd floor, Faculty of Informatics, 9/11 Drzewny St. Gdansk.
Will AI do away with the photography profession? What will photography become if it is no longer a reflection of reality?
...or maybe it never was? Various manipulation techniques have been used for decades - and AI has joined them. And much earlier than you think!
During this lecture, you will learn how this technology has been used by photographers and graphic designers for years now and how it affects the approach to this field of art. You are also invited to actively discuss, ask questions and share your perspective.
The lecture will be given by Dr. Leszek Zurek - lecturer in photography and psychophysiology of vision at PJATK Gdansk. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the Marshal of Pomorskie Voivodeship. Creator of many acclaimed photographic series and video art. Author of photography of two album publications "Paradissus Marie" and "St. Mary's Church in Zukowo". Constantly cooperates with museums in Tri-City. In his works he invites the viewer on a journey into himself. Using photography, he poses an important question about the identity of past lives and the permanence of memory.
