We invite you to the vernissage and exhibition of works by Joanna Zakrzewska "Written Words". The vernissage will take place on 8.10.2023 (Sunday) at 18:00 at Książka i Wino. Kameralna Bookstore (Stary Rynek Oliwski 19, 80-300 Gdansk). The exhibition will be on display until 8.11. 2023.

Dr. Joanna Zakrzewska - japanist (UMK in Torun), calligrapher and illuminator. Associate dean for student affairs at the Faculty of New Media Art in Gdansk. Academically, she is interested in the aesthetics of Japanese art, especially calligraphy and ink painting. He holds the VII dan of calligraphy of the Japanese Seifū school. He conducts workshops and demonstrations of Latin and Japanese calligraphy and illumination. He is active in the academic field (monograph "Sakuteiki - Notes on the Establishment of Gardens", "Over-thinking Beauty. Aesthetics of Japanese calligraphy", numerous scientific publications, lectures conferences) as well as artistic (individual and collective exhibitions and workshops).
