We invite you to an exhibition of typographic posters from the collection of the Type Directors Club (New York). It will be on display from 2.06-28.07.2023 in the Pejotka gallery at the Faculty of Informatics, PJATK Gdańsk (9/11 Drzewny Market Street, Gdańsk), during the university's operating hours. The opening of the exhibition on June 1, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Before the opening, at 4:00 p.m., there will be a lecture inaugurating the exhibition.

The Type Directors Club Competition (TDC Competition) is the world's most prestigious typographic competition, with a tradition dating back to 1953. The winners of the competition are a group of visionaries, setting new directions in design - from typefaces to corporate identities and complex publications. The competition and the activities of this distinguished institution will be discussed by its director of operations, Carol Wahler. The story of 76 years of TDC is actually the story of typography itself at its finest. A New York feast in the heart of Gdansk.

The opening will be accompanied by a lecture in English at 4 pm, in the auditorium of the Department of Computer Science.
