Create your monster - concept art workshop - auditorium, first floor
Take on the role of a concept artist and design your own unique monster. Before the beast can inspire terror (or other emotions) in a game or other media, you need to get it right. We'll go through the entire creation process: from description to mind map to character sketches! Suggested age of participants: 12+

What is it like to be a scribe... - calligraphy workshop - room 110, 1st floor
What is it like to be a scribe? It's not that it's good or not good. If I had to say what I value most in life, it would probably be... Calligraphy. You are cordially invited to a workshop on what it's like to be a scribe, or the basics of traditional calligraphy. We will try to tame the cut nib and not weep over our pages, learning the most famous typefaces. We will also get out of the framework of calligraphy itself, incorporating a bit of illustration and composition into the workshop.

We invite people who are just taking their first steps in the world of digital graphics and would love to create but... you have to start somewhere! We will learn the functions of graphic programs that will enable you to start your adventure with digital painting.

Guided tours- gatherings on the first floor, at the entrance
Join us for a guided tour of the building of the Faculty of New Media Art at PJATK Gdansk on the Shores. We will take a look at the art and design studios, see a cross-section of works made by students of the Graphic Arts faculty in various subjects, learn interesting facts about the life of the university. We will meet at the entrance, every full hour from 19:00 to 22:00.
