Report from the Girls Do Engineering Gala
Today, at the headquarters of Intel's Polish branch, a gala was held to award scholarships for the "New Technologies for Girls" program of the Perspektywy Foundation and Intel Poland. Almost 800 candidates applied for this year's edition. Among them, a student from PJATK Gdansk qualified.
Kinga Marszalkowska - a student majoring in Computer Science in Gdansk - has become a scholarship recipient of the "New Technologies for Girls" program, which is the first scholarship program in Poland for young women tying their future to the technology industry. As a result, under the guidance of an experienced Mentor from Intel, she will be able to further develop her talent. Kinga is also a brand ambassador of Just Join IT, the largest IT classifieds portal in Poland, a two-time gold medalist and winner of the Ranatra Fusca award for outstanding creativity at the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals in the US. In 2020, she and her team took first place at the Innovation@Amazon Online Hackathon, in 2022 at the BITEhack Hackathon (BEST IT Extended Hackathon) organized by BEST AGH Krakow, she and her team took third place in the robotics category.
