The Pomeranian Hackathon for High School Students Young Smart is an initiative promoting the use of new technologies by young people in designing solutions for society and the environment. The organizers are the Polish-Japanese Academy of Computer Technology in Gdansk and the 17th High School in Gdynia - Microsoft Showcase School.

Congratulations to all participants and winners of the 2nd edition of the Young Smart Hackathon! The level was extremely high and balanced, which made the jury face a difficult choice of selecting the 3 best projects. On the podium stood:

ABOUT HACKATHON:


This year's theme is:
BACKTO THE FUTURE

Hackathon will be held on May 27-28.
Participants can be high school students from the Pomeranian Voivodeship area. The Hackathon will be held online on the MS Teams platform - registered teams will receive links to teams before the Hackathon. Registration is done by the teacher - team supervisor. Applications will be accepted until May 23, 2022.

What can be created?
- mobile applications;
- computer games;
- games for mobile devices;
- websites.

Winners will receive prizes in the form of workshops with specialists from Microsoft, Intel and PJATK Gdańsk.

Substantive and training support: Microsoft, Intel, Gdynia Teacher Training Center.
Hackathon is under the Honorary Patronage of the Marshal of Pomorskie Voivodeship, Pomeranian Superintendent of Education and the Mayor of Gdynia.
