General information

Important Information:

The first stage of study at PJATK's Faculty of Graphic Arts is the first degree (bachelor's), which takes place in two modes:

Full-time

Full-time - full-time studies (Monday through Friday) lasting 6 semesters,

Part-time

Part-time - part-time studies (every two weeks on weekends: Saturday and Sunday) lasting 6 semesters.

Studies at the Faculty of New Media Arts are interdisciplinary, combining general and specialized knowledge from the fields:

  • Visual arts (issues of composition, painting, drawing) and
  • graphics (basic issues and concepts of graphic design, contemporary design language, skills in the following areas: multimedia, web design, organization and project management).

In addition, we offer a preparatory course for GRAPHIC majors in drawing, painting and composition.

Graphic Design organizes the form of the message. It is an essential part of advertising, marketing and art. Nowadays, every industry needs services in this field, so the demand for a well-trained graphic designer is high.

Studying at the Faculty of New Media Arts is an all-academic, interdisciplinary, artistic study with a strong technical emphasis. Our students receive extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in both art subjects and the use of graphic design applications (Adobe, Maya, Unity, etc.).

Computer subjects are taught in well-equipped computer labs, and include elements of such fields as graphic design, image processing, web development and design, multimedia, animation creation, three-dimensional modeling. In the field of manual arts, students study in professional studios: drawing and painting, sculpture, photography, design and art graphics.
