Specialized Scope Topics:
Classes at the Studio of Artistic Graphics provide the opportunity to master classical printmaking techniques, both in relief (black-and-white and color linocut) and intaglio (copper etching techniques: etching, aquatint, splatter, copperplate and mezzotint), and to process the graphics created in the aforementioned techniques using modern digital printmaking techniques, in order to create a product with the possibility of mass application. It is possible to create black and white art graphics, using digital software only.
Opportunities to use the acquired knowledge in professional work:
The knowledge and skills acquired allow you to independently create complex projects and execute them in the chosen technique.
It allows you to design and realize illustrations for all kinds of publishing houses, publications, graphic design agencies and tattoo studios. The specialized nature of the skills acquired allows you to apply for a job at the State Mint, where one of the recently created investment products are facsimiles (i.e. perfect copies of old prints).
The ability to create independently and bring an established project to completion, allows many graduates to start their own business.

Lab Description:
The Studio of Artistic Graphics is equipped with stations for pre-processing of matrices, stations for reflecting and graphic presses, along with rollers for applying ink in different widths, and cuvettes for polishing matrices and soaking paper. We are also equipped with a computer, thanks to which we can review graphic designs made in digital techniques, prepare visualization of the process of creating and etching matrices, and create usable versions of products based on graphics created by the student (albums, illustrations, calendars, T-shirts, sweatshirts, postcards, etc.). We also have a technical room with a tinting machine, which allows us to make works in the tinting technique.

The issue , which we deal with in the studio is storytelling with images. The use of images by man to convey content to others has a history of many thousands of years. The method, which has a very long tradition, is still alive, and in recent decades has experienced very intensive development all over the world thanks to new technologies. One might be tempted to say that the language of image has now become a universal tool and dominates human communication. Being aware of the richness of the codes of this language related to culture and the multitude of tools for creating and recording images, as well as the availability of technologies for disseminating the created message, it is difficult to disregard the consideration : what is it that I want to say and to whom to direct my message. The possibilities for addressing the issues expressed and seeking the best related forms of expression are endless. The possibilities of application many times more numerous than the examples given below.
