Specialized areas
Studying at PJATK Gdańsk isn’t just about theory—it’s a time when you decide what you want to become in the creative industry. Starting in the fourth semester, you move up to the next level and choose one of three specialized modules:
Perfect if you're into visual communication. You'll learn how to create memorable brands, design modern publications (print and digital), and build a cohesive visual identity. This is the foundation for future art directors and graphic designers.
Your path to the world of film and advertising. You’ll master hand-drawn animation, film production techniques, and storytelling. You’ll learn how to bring graphics to life, creating content that captures attention in the digital world.
Step into the third dimension. Here, you’ll learn 3D modeling, animation, and how to bring projects to life using game engines. This track is for those who want to create characters and worlds for video games or work on advanced special effects.
What will you learn in practice?
You won’t find any boring lectures here—we focus on individual and team projects. We’ll teach you:
- Creative Thinking: How to Turn a Casual Idea into a Professional Project.
- Independence: Solving real-world problems that designers face.
